A Message from Our PresidentGreetings from the dynamic members of the Macon (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated! The Links, Incorporated is one of the nation's oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of women.
Our members have worked to enrich, sustain, and ensure the cultural and economic welfare of people of African ancestry in Macon-Bibb County and greater Middle Georgia region since 1972. With over 3,000 volunteer service hours given annually, our members address issues such as early literacy, breast cancer, heart health, foster care, and voter mobilization while supplying funds to support local non-profit agencies and community-wide initiatives. Our members are an intergenerational group of women including educators, health professionals, attorneys, public advocates, community servants, mothers, daughters, sisters and friends. Together, we work to transform our community and fulfill our purpose through collective excellence. I invite you to explore our website and learn more about the Macon (GA) Chapter and The Links, Incorporated. In friendship and service, Vivian Thomas Macon (GA) Chapter President |
